Short answer: No This is a touchy subject among many goat owners. There are pros and cons to disbudding. Personally, I believe God made a goat to have horns for a reason and I don't want to take that away. Horns also help blood circulation and act as a coolant for the goat during hot weather. They also make a fabulous handle when you have a stubborn goat! Be advised, a secure fence is necessary for the saftey of your goats. Electric fencing is best as no horns can get stuck in the fence!
